How to Prepare for your Dumpster Delivery
After you've placed the order for your dumpster your might be wondering what happens next. Please refer to the guide below to get an idea of what to expect with your delivery. We recommend browsing our resources and preparing ahead of time.
Step 1: Creating Space For Your Dumpster
Make sure the area for your dumpster is clear of any infringing objects, such as cars, trees or hanging wires, that could prevent the dumpster from being properly placed in the location where you want it. Be aware of the size of your delivery. The size of your delivery area should be a minimum of 10 feet wide.
Step 2: Accounting For Delivery Trucks
Our bins are hauled by a pickup truck so the footprint needed is much smaller than a traditional roll-off dumpster delivery. However, please keep in mind that the pickup needs to back in to your driveway with a trailer attached. The driver will need ample space in front of the truck to maneuver the bin into position.
Step 3: Knowing Your Delivery Date
We allow you to choose your exact delivery date when you process your order so you will know when to expect it. If your project requires a dumpster bin to be dropped off early in the morning or at a specific time just indicate this in the “delivery details” portion of your order. If you have strict time requirements please give us a call when placing the order. We map out our routes ahead of time to save time and cut back on fuel waste.
Step 4: Filling Your Dumpster
Be conscious of what type of debris your dumpster rental is intended for. Depending on its purpose and size, there are certain limitations as to what you can fill your container with. Familiarize yourself with what can and cannot be put into your dumpster here.
